OPUS VIII, 2007 HOUGHTON WESLEYAN CHURCH HOUGHTON, NEW YORK
|
|
This organ is the result of a collaboration between Houghton Wesleyan Church and Houghton College. It will be used as a service instrument for the congregation and as a teaching instrument for the college. We are extremely proud to have been chosen to build in these exceptional circumstances. Indeed, it is hard to imagine anything more gratifying to the organ builder than to know that our instrument will serve both for the praise of God and for the instruction of future generations of organists. Many people have helped make bring this project to fruition, but we are especially grateful to Rev. Wesley J. Oden, pastor of Houghton Wesleyan Church; and to Dr. Judy Congdon, professor of organ and Houghton College.
